I am a Male Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Washington
My Message: Hi, I am looking for someone to help me get back into some good walking.I have in the past done plenty of walking in the Lakes,Yorkshire Dales and Moors,Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
I do work shifts and my weekends off come 3 or 4 at a time. but I am also available to walk weekdays too.
I am hoping to be able to get fit enough to do the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks challenge soon.
My Preferred Walk Grades*: 2:3:4:5:6:7:
My Preferred Walk Areas:
Southern Scotland; North East England; North West England; Yorkshire;

A bit more about me:
When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it.
With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs.
I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other.
To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average.
I can drive and have a car.
I am also interested in:
- Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
- Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
- Peak Bagging - where the aim is to climb all the hills or mountains on a particular list such as 'bagging' all the Wainwrights or Munros;
- Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
- Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;
I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
