I am a Male Walker, in my early 50s, based near Bourne/buxton

My Message: Hello, I'm Ian. I'm an experienced walker who enjoys walks of 8 miles and upwards. My girlfriend is unable to walk this far due to foot problems, so I am looking for a walking buddy for long walks as I enjoy a bit of companionship and chat as I go. I live in Lincolnshire but also have a house in Buxton and a caravan in Norfolk so am well placed for the Peak District, Norfolk and much of the Midlands. I like to walk at a good pace in all conditions and like to keep moving - I'm not much of a one for taking breathers! I work full time but work is quite flexible so I could manage some mid-week walks, as well as most weekends. Look forward to hearing from you.

When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. Sorry, but I really do not like walking with Dogs. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.
