I am a Female Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Birmingham

My Message: Love walking from the flats to the hills. Walked snowdon 5 times in the past. Love the Peak District as much as the forests. Don't drive but don't let it stop me... hence jump a train to go out for the day to places Long Mynd..Mam Tor...Kinder Scout. I equally enjoy the sitting and taking in the view. Looking to meet up with anyone who enjoys a stroll and loves the countryside. I have been fortunate to have been well travelled around Scotland and Wales and camping in the process. If you love it you just do it :)

A bit more about me:

When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I don't drive.

I am also interested in:

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
