I am a Female Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Hereford

My Message: I`m a 55 year old female (physically but mentally somewhat younger!) looking for a walking buddy in Herefordshire. I enjoy walks in the Black Mountains, Brecons, Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. At the moment I can only do weekends but after the end of March will have some weekdays free too. I like hill and mountain walking but feel a bit nervous going alone without a companion to stop me getting lost or falling off a mountain! Enjoy a good chat and a laugh? Come and get lost with me!

A bit more about me:

I quite enjoy Scrambling & Edges but don't like too much exposure. I prefer warm, dry & sunny weather but can cope with the odd shower. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.

I am also interested in:

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
