I am a Male Walker, in my late 40s, based near Stoke On Tent

My Message: Hi, I am Mark and get out to walk most weekends. Sometimes during the week if time allows. I walk all over the UK and sometimes overseas. I am happy to do easy or hard walks, I just like being in the countryside. Recently I have been walking alone but prefer to walk with others who share an interest in the outdoors.

A bit more about me:

I quite enjoy Scrambling & Edges but don't like too much exposure. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have a car.

I am also interested in:

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
Peak Bagging - where the aim is to climb all the hills or mountains on a particular list such as 'bagging' all the Wainwrights or Munros;
Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
