I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Newcastle Upon Tyne

My Message: Hi, I love to explore beautiful Northumberland and have a chat along the way. It would be great to go further afield too,the Lakes or Yorkshire for example. I don't have a car but am happy to share petrol costs.
I'd like to build up my level of fitness but more important to me is just enjoying a walk. And if there's a nice café or pub along the way, all to the good!

I don't work now so am potentially free on weekdays or at weekends.

A bit more about me:

I can cope with a little bit of scrambling if it is short and there are no steep drops. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive but do not have access to a vehicle.

Important: For the avoidence of doubt I am definitely not looking for anything other than someone to go walking with.
