I am a Female Walker, in my early 40s, based near Loch Lomond, Scotland

My Message: Hello, I am interested in sociable walking. I have climbed a few Munros in the past and would like to again but am just happy being outdoors enjoying the sights and sounds. I have a mini dachshund who I like to take with me (most of the time in a backpack!). I live north of Glasgow but am happy to travel for a good walk. Would be nice to hear from others looking for similar!

A bit more about me:

I really don't like Scrambling & Edges - they are defintely not for me. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I like walking with dogs and will bring my own. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.

I am also interested in:

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
