I am a Male Walker, in my mid 60s, based near Uttoxeter

My Message: Long time walker,based on Staffordshire/Derbyshire borders. Wide experience of walking long distance paths,both in the UK and abroad.
Seek every opportunity to get out walking in the hills,valleys and paths,flexible on distance walking milage and good navigator.
Always enjoy good walking company,with sadly many walking friends now restricted by injury or unavailability.
I have a great sense of humour and enjoy conversation on any subjects whilst walking and enjoy a fine beer or glass of fine wine on fnishing any walk.
Flexible to travel widely to enable varied walking,in the many great areas of the UK.
Be glad to share a walk with good walking company and enjoy the many great walking areas far and wide.

A bit more about me:

I quite enjoy Scrambling & Edges but don't like too much exposure. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have a car.

I am also interested in:

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
Peak Bagging - where the aim is to climb all the hills or mountains on a particular list such as 'bagging' all the Wainwrights or Munros;

Important: For the avoidence of doubt I am definitely not looking for anything other than someone to go walking with.
