I am a Male Walker, in my early 60s, based near Worksop

My Message: Hello, I am Bill, an active outdoor guy who likes walking, naturally, but enjoys most sports outdoors, biking, caravaning, kayaking but not white water anymore, been there done that. For winter days I also enjoy line dancing and with the right partner, ballroom dancing, although I'm a bit rusty these days. While quite happy walking in a group, I am a member of the Ramblers, it would be nice to walk and enjoy the company of a woman. Most Ramblers groups are couples which is fair enough. Though still working part time I can usually manage to get out and about any day, with a bit of forward planning so I look forward to meeting new friends soon.

A bit more about me:

When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have my own Campervan/Motorhome.
