I am a Female Walker, in my mid 70s, based near South Yorkshire

My Message: Sincere, retired, down to earth professional who enjoys the outdoors and associated Wild life and nature, looking for like minded walking companions to share the beauty of our countryside. Walks up to 5-8 miles preferred, with an Al fresco packed lunch (home made cake a must),, possible pub meal on return, though not essential, Yorkshire, Peak District area to start with! I have done a fair bit of walking in my time and am a reasonable map reader, but my focus these days is more about enjoying the environment. I like to travel though haven't done much recently, music, radio 4.

A bit more about me:

I really don't like Scrambling & Edges - they are defintely not for me. I'm happy to walk in most weathers but do not like snow and ice. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have a car.

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
