I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Cumbria

My Message: Hi, I am looking for walking friends, male or female, primarily to walk in the Lake District as that's where I live, but would also look at travelling, particularly Scotland.I mostly walk weekends although have time off available. Happy to tackle walks at any level.I know the Lake District well and look forward to sharing it. If anybody would like to try putting a small group together I would be interested in that too.

A bit more about me:

I quite enjoy Scrambling & Edges but don't like too much exposure. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I like walking with dogs and will bring my own. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have a car.

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
