I am a Walker, in my early 50s, based near Appleby In Westmorland

My Message: Hi,
I am looking for male and female walking friends. I live in Appleby Cumbria, so tend to walk in the Lake district and Eden valley but would be also willing to walk in other areas.
I am happy to meet to do a single fell or an all day walk doing several fells.
I do enjoy flat walks too and would be free at short notice for evening walks.
I work shifts but only part time, so that gives me time off to meet on weekdays too.

A bit more about me:

When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. If pushed, I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are rather poor at best. I can drive and have a car.

I am also interested in:

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
Road Cycling

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
