Wainwright Walking Boots
Q. I have a pair of Wainwright Boots which were I think were made by Kays.
Unfortunately they are old and have enjoyed lots of walks.
They are the most light and comfortable boots that I have had and am anxious to purchase a new pair.
Can you help as I haven't been able to find any?

A. I also love my old Wainwright boots but the midsoles are disintegrating and the soles are falling off. The uppers are fine.
K Shoes replaced Wainwrights with Brasher Boots which are similar.
However, Feet First of Whittington Moor near Chesterfield will do a resole or refurbish and they are very nice people.
