I am a Walker, in my early 30s, based near Birmingham.

My Message: Hi,

I'm a 32 year old asian female, just from the outskirts of Birmingham.

I am looking for walking buddies to experience more of the outdoors with, long walks, hill walks, mountains, day ways, weekend walks, challenges etc.

I am just getting my fitness back after being ill for a period but in the past I have undertaken the likes of Snowdon and Cadir idris in wales, many walks in wales and the peak district, shropshire hills etc.

I would like to get back into my passion and also make new friends as existing friends have gone abroad to live and work.

I am able to drive to locations, pick ups etc if you dont own your own car to beable to go on long walks, or if you have to leave the car to the partner for the day!

I am keen to train up to do the National Three Peaks challenge so anyway wishing to help me or looking to embark on this, do get in touch! Or if you are already training, again, would love to hear from you.

Thanks for reading my message :)

Rea

My Message: I’m from the Maidenhead area and am looking for a female friend for walking and hiking in the Welsh mountains, Cumbria or Scotland, although if you have other areas to visit, then that’s ok by me. Being in my mid fifties, male, I have been walking from many years enjoying the outdoor life and am able to set up comfortable base camps on overnighters. If you require a refresher course on map and compass navigation I’ll be happy to help. I have climbed Snowdon, Cader Iris. Pen y fan and Cairngorm this winter with lots of snow. If you would like to join me for any hill walking please let me know. Andrew

I am a Walker, in my early 60s, based near Hartlebury.

My Message: Hi. I'm Peter and I live near Worcester. I've been self-employed for over twenty years, which means I'm free to walk almost any day of the week. My friends say that I'm fairly fit, have a sparkle in my eyes and a love of life. But although I'm a member of another group, I'd love to have a local walking-buddy. My ideal walk is interesting, rather than challenging, and probably around five to ten miles.

I am a Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Knutsford, Cheshire.

My Message: Hello, I'm based in Knutsford, Cheshire and love the outdoors, particularly the parts with a pub at the end, or in the middle! Reasonably fit and active but equally happy doing high-level walks but also some of my favourites are walks around the coast or around lakes in Cumbria. Seeking an interesting companion to find new walks with. I am mainly available at weekends but can do walks closer to home in the evenings, and can be available during weekdays as my business is flexible. My ideal walking mate would have a love of the English countryside, have an easy laugh, a sunshiny disposition and be able to join in interesting banter at pub at end of walk.

I am a Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Southam, Warwickshire.

My Message: Hi, I'm usually free to walk most weekends. I'm based in Warwickshire but love walking in the Lake District, Snowdonia, mid Wales, Brecons, Peak District and anywhere else really. As long as there's a good walk involved I'm usually interested. I'm a professional person, easy company and looking for nothing other than a good walk and easy company. I drive and am happy to provide transport, if en route. I have passed my bronze NNAS map reading course, but I'm not fully confident to lead a complicated route! I am fairly fit and am just about to run my first half marathon. Email me with questions etc, I really won't bite. Kind regards Michelle

My Message:
Hi, my name is Halina, I am Polish lady leaving in UK for the last 27 years, last 16 years I live in South East of England. Always liked walking, outdoor, skiing and as long as I am fit enough I would like to persue this activities. I am looking for male/female walking companion mostly for the weekends and odd days off, holidays. I am willing to travel with reasonable distance (I do drive).
Still back in Poland I used to work as a mountain guide (only as a hobby) for Tatra Mountains so know it pretty well. If you ever would like to visit this part of the world I can be very helpfull, although I have not been there myself for many years now.
I would prefere walks with just another one or two people not a big group.

I am a Walker, in my late 40s, based near Dorchester.

My Message: I've always enjoyed coastal walking and love the sea. I know and love the Dorset coast. It's beautiful at any time of the year. Although I've put mainly the South-West as my areas of interest for walking, I'd love to go further afield if I had company to walk with - singles or couples - I don't mind which. I work full-time but can arrange to walk at weekends or school holidays. I'm happy to try something a bit challenging rather than a gentle stroll and I'm handy with a map and compass. I've done a bit of orienteering in the past. Do get in touch if you might be interested :)

My Message: Hi, I am an walker mainly in surrey/hants (based in SW Surrey), but i love the Lake Disrict where my son lives as well. I am retired so able to walk most days. I am recovering from surgery two plus years ago so would like to do more limited walks at first. I know the HIndhead/Devils Punch Bowl area fairly well, as well as the Hampshire downs and coast. I am a keen nature lover (plants and birds) so like to stop and admire! Also like tea etc after the walk! I would prefer a female companion.

I am a Walker, in my late 40s, based near Blackpool.

My Message: Hi, I am a cheerful, happy go lucky, adventurous guy who has always had a facination for the outdoors-walking, camping, caving etc and a love of travel. I am planning to walk some long distance paths such as the Lancashire Coastal Way, Ribble Way or discuss any path you are interested in. I intend to video the walk and it would be fantastic to meet someone who would enjoy sharing the challenge. Probably do the walk in stages over a period of time. I am happy to begin with easy sections of about 5 miles enjoying the walk, increasing the distance as we get fitter. I am free most days and look forward to hearing from anyone who would like to join me in planning and doing some great walks. I am open to any other ideas and love country pubs.
