I am a Male Walker, in my early 40s, based near Newcastle.
My Message: Hi I'm Dave, an active 43 yr old looking for walking/camping companions both male and female. I have been walking for quite a few years now, mainly in Northumberland, Lake District and Scotland. I am pretty well experienced and know my way around quite a few places. Working offshore gives me a lot off time off to venture off into the great outdoors, there's nothing better. I am very interested in trying out some wild camping, hoping to do it very soon in fact, so if anyone is looking for company give me a shout, I have never tried it but I am in the process of getting the kit together.
I am married with 2 children, my 8 yr old boy is already into Wainwright double figures, he often joins me and is great company on the fells.
I also enjoy cycling, running and would try most outdoor activities. If you are interested in joining me for a hike or a wild camp please get in touch.
Many thanks.

I am a Female Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Stirling.
My Message: Hi, I'm looking for company, male or female, on walks locally or further afield, weekend breaks or walking holidays.
I enjoy hills and flat walks of any distance, also cycling (off road), and usually have a couple of dogs tagging along. Scrambling is always a challenge I'm up for, but not anything too scary, not keen on massive drops!
I'm keen to do more long distance, multi day walks, preferably with BandB or hostel/bunkhouse accommodation. I've done a few Explore walking holidays, which have been great fun, and I'd love to try some of the cycling holidays or self guided walks abroad.

I am a Male Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Aberdeen City.

My Message: Hello,
My names is James and I am a Scot. I live and work in Aberdeen.
Synopses of my out-door life:-
Been walking and hiking all over Scotland for the past years. I normally try and get away as much as possible, both winter and summer. I have a Camper-van that I take with me every-time I can get away.
My plans are usually structured in a pattern that involves getting to the location of the climb, park-up Hovis (camper-van) and start the climb. I normally try and ensure that the route will take in a night or two of - wild camping under a canvas - listening to a menacingly howling gale on the outside while quietly thinking (praying) "have I hammered my tent pegs in the ground well-enough to out-last the storm on the outside:) I also use Bothy's if they are on my route, and - hope when I stumble across one that there is stone fireplace inside, where I can try and get a fire up and running - and hopefully try and get the surrounding stone warm enough for some heat-retention that might last the night. I also try and structure a night in my plan to factor in a bunk-house and / or Youth-Hostel. After my climb I head back to my start position, pick up Hovis and head away to the next random location. I spent a few weeks last year in Skye doing exactly this, however-I still never achieve all my ambitions that this truly beautiful location has to offer. My plan this year 2015 is to go back and carry on where I left off.
The type of person that I enjoy spending my time with on this wonderful pursuit is a person that is:- full of life, and is not put off with some rough days of challenging Scottish weather. In addition to this, I would like to get some addition wild camping experience in with someone who also enjoys battling the elements.
I have various interests which range from Genetics to how the universe operates and the day to day challenge we have to overcome each day of this amazing world we all live in. I also enjoy the company of people who specialise in all aspects of things outdoors. Geology along with the basics of human Physiology also interest me.
So if you are up for cold weather, a night or two in my camper, the odd Bothy, bunkhouse and youth-hostel or sitting on top of the Cuillins watching the sun go down please let me know and we can perhaps arrange to share some truly amazing events that we receive as gifts from an entity we call nature. A force that shares - each and every day of this vast structure of our planet we all live on.
Motto:- There is no such thing as bad weather, only inadequate clothing :)
Thanks James.

I am a Male Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Carlisle.
My Message: Hi, I am Simon a 55 year old male from Carlisle. I love the outdoors and the hills and mountains in particular. I live close to the Lakes which I adore, but my greatest passion is for the Scottish Highlands, in particular the far north west, with Skye and Torridon being my favourites. I have to confess to being a 'bagger. ' I also enjoy a good scramble. However, I enjoy shorter and less strenuous walks along glens and valleys and along beaches and headlands.
I am out in the Lakes regularly and go to the Highlands as often as I can. I have made a number of bothy and camping trips, as well as staying in hostels and B and B's. The odd foray to Snowdonia has usually met with bad weather, but I live in hope.
I am looking for a female who enjoys exploring the wild and beautiful mountainous areas of our islands, and shares my passion for reaching the top.

I am a Male Walker, in my early 30s, based near Carlisle.
My Message: Hi I'm a 32 year old male who loves walking in the lakes, haven't walked anywhere else yet, but would do. It was a friend who got me into walking in the lakes and I love it, unfortunately my pal has gone off traveling now, and nobody else I know likes walking in the hills. I started trying to do all the wainwrights and I've done about 30 of them, and some of them 4or 5 times over. I've done a few hills on my own since, but it's just not the same on your own, hence why I'm here now, If you think you'd be up for some lakes adventures, drop me a message and we can talk about it!!

I am a Male Walker, in my late 60s, based near Norwich.
My Message: Retired 69-going-on-35 male ex teacher with caravan, tent, time and enthusiasm!
Looking to meet up with a compatible walker or two for friendship and shared trips. Currently working on Administrative County Tops (4 to do), Wainwrights (about 20 to do) and Munros (144 done). Also often fly to Mallorca, Madeira, Morocco for a walking break.
Have no commitments or baggage, so can take off for the hills at little or no notice.
Happy to walk solo on the hills, but would prefer company and someone to share the views. Someone also retired would be great. Oh and non-smoker and dog-free!
You don't have to be round East Anglia, I spend a lot of time in other parts of the country with my trusty little caravan, so could be anywhere, really. Do drop me a line...., you never know.

I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Lyndhurst /Exmoor.

My Message: Hi I am a fairly fit heterosexual lady who would love to find a walking companion. I run a pub in the New Forest which is when I walk daily with my dogs but I spend alot of my time in Exmoor on my days off, where I also walk. I tend to walk much longer walks down there as obviously I have more time. I love taking time out to explore new areas especially Scotland which I have visited a lot but find it a bit lonely on my own all the time. I love staying in my camper in remote places and travelling around discovering new places in the British Isles. I would obviously like to meet the love of my life but to find a likewise person who is bright, loves the countryside, can cope with my dogs and enjoys walking with me would be great. I can walk up to 8 /10 miles easily and love picnics, or a visit to a pub. Anyone that would like to meet for a walk in the New Forest or Exmoor (or anywhere really.. there are so many places to see) please get in touch. I run from my pub a dog walk on the 1st Sunday in the month. Feel free anyone with a mut that would like to come along.

I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Thirsk.
My Message: I'm in the process of trying to form a congenial small group of people (not always easy) who love walking and who would like to meet up for a day's walking on a regular basis, or possibly walk over several days once we get to know each other.
I've recently passed my Silver NNAS (National Navigation Award Scheme) and am already putting it into practice, but at the moment I tend to walk alone - but not through choice. Another plan is to walk the Coast to Coast with a few others next year.
However, I am not a "peak bagger" as my idea of a great walk is not being with hoards of people on a conveyor belt belting up the highest peak and back down again in the fastest time possible. I enjoy walks that take in a variety of scenery and away from the crowds.
So if you're interested I'd love to hear from you.

I am a Male Walker, in my late 40s, based near Sherburn In Elmet (Leeds).

My Message: Hi ! My name is Warren and I am a hill bagger !
The higher the hill the better !
I usually go walking on my own with my dog “Rocky”!
I like a challenge when im walking, I like high hills and steep climbs and I like walking in all weathers !
Recently I have started to walk the Munros my first been An Teallach (via the scary ridge).
I has also climbed Ben Nevis via Carn Mor Dearg and I will be in scotland for a week again from the 11th of October stopping in Fort William and planning to climb all ten of the Munro’s in the "Mamores" region.
I drive a HGV for a large supermarket chain for a living so I work strange shifts and I have a lot of days off in the week but not many weekends off work.
I would like to meet a walking companion male or female that likes visiting the tops of hills. When I go walking I usually walk a circular route of any wear between 7 and 15 miles !
Sometimes after a long hard walk i like a pub dinner and a pint !

I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Carlisle.
My Message: I live close to the Lake District and I want to get back out and enjoy the area again. It is always fun to meet new people and it would be good to make new friends whilst doing something I enjoy. My two Alsatians are elderly now and can no longer keep me company but they have done in the past. I presently work shifts as a healthcare assistant and support worker and because of that I can be free during the week or at weekends. I have a sense of humour and a wide range of interests and I am very much a people person. I bike to work and as a lot of my work is physical and I like to think I am fairly fit. Its also nice to enjoy a relaxing drink at the end of a walk. Please get in touch if you have any walks you would like to share. I have put my walks as local to me as I do not have a car at the moment not because I don't want to go anywhere else.

I am a Female Walker, in my late 50s, based near Western Isles.

My Message: I am a 59 year old lady - relatively fit who loves walking anywhere. I love going on walking holidays in the UK and Europe and would like to travel further afield with walking being an important part of my holiday. I live in the Western Isles and do lots of walking in this area too. I am self employed, so I am very flexible with my time. I am looking for someone who has similar interests, who enjoys a good walk with perhaps some wine and a good meal at the end of it. I suppose you would call me a fair weather walker as I hate starting off a walk in the rain and can't see the point in plodding up a mountain if there isn't going to be any views once you get there, don't mind if it starts to rain once I've set off though. I like to take my time to enjoy the views when i'm walking in the mountains. I love all types of music (I'm a very amateur musician), would like to try some cycling again, enjoy a good book and like theatre. I don't do camping/caravanning - I prefer a comfy bed and other creature comforts at the end of a good day's walk. Like good beer and wine and am up for a laugh at any time. Life's too short to be too serious.

I am a Male Walker, in my early 50s, based near Porthmadog.

My Message: Hi. I’m a 50 year old single male who’s keen on walking/rambling, who delights in the natural scenery in its ever-changing moods, along with wildlife and landmarks; generally anything I may encounter along the way. Having a curious mind, I tend to finish a new walk with more questions than when I started, to which end I’ll endeavour to find answers to.
Hoping to meet a likeminded female with whom I can share and enjoy my walks (Don’t mind males or groups either). Who I can also share and impart knowledge learnt while walking, as well as any other topic, and likewise gain information from.
All my walks to date have been in North Wales, mainly in the stunning Snowdonia area, along beaches and sea cliffs, rivers and valleys, hills and quieter mountains. I’d like to share these sights with those who are interested. I’d also like to expand my range and venture further afield and discover other areas of the UK.
Would be delighted to hear from you. Dave.
