The Vango Wanderer 25 is a comfortable, uncomplicated daypack. For me, though, the lack of a chest strap or belt means that it can only really be used with a light weight such as you may have on a short, spring/summer, low level walk.
That having been said. it does have a good number of useful walking features. It's hydration system compatible, has one walking pole attachment point and a handy set of pockets 3 on front, one on top) for hats, gloves, food - including one that is big enough for an OS map.
It is based around Vango's Air Force back system which does help significantly with ventilation around your back when you're wearing the Wanderer. The shoulder straps also feature a generous amount of padding. Overall I have to say it's been very comfortable to carry on the variety of short Peak District walks on which I've used it.
Whist it's not suitable for anything other than the lightest of loads, the Vango Wanderer 25 has a good selection of walking features which make it a good value, 'novice' walker option.
