We then walkedSouth west back to high force & Aira Force. [with] Two friends Richard Macilwaine and John Dooley [weather] Cloudy, with sunny spells. Warm - Picked up a chap on the way home, he was nearly blind & quite lost. We took him back to the Patterdale Hotel & then went for a pint in the Ullswater Hotel.

Continued over ridge after lunch to old shooting hut, through forest track to a wall (left turn)which gave a short cut via a dis-quarry back to The Hause. [with] With Mya my faithful 14 year old Patterdale Terrier. [weather] Very hot & sunny. - Also did a loop to top out on Gowbarrow. Took a short cut back over

[with] Mandy-wife. Andrew-son. Victoria-daughter. Siobhan-sons girlfriend. [weather] Sunny & cloudy but mainly warm sunshine. Bit breezy at the summit. - Thoroughly enjoyable walk up steep ascent & excellent views for a small fell. The Ullswater way was a lovely ramble & the waterfall area was very interesting & enjoyable. Apple Watch gave us a rough distance of just over 11 kilometres.
