Fellow go4awalkers who have already walked, climbed, summited & bagged Carrock Fell

Stephen Batson climbed on June 5th, 2022 [with] Clare [weather] Sunny
Claire Kirk bagged on June 5th, 2022 [from/via/route] Mosedale [with] Alone
Richard Marchant hiked on May 8th, 2022 [from/via/route] Just a very quick up & back trip. I Parked on the High road from Hesket Newmarket to Mungrisdale just below Rospow Hill. Basically a grass path heading up the North more gentler slop of Carrock Fell & back the same way. [with] On my Own [weather] Dry Day & a bit overcast in the morning although it did become sunny & clear in the afternoon.
Ian Morris summited on March 23rd, 2019 [from/via/route] From Stone Ends farm & onto High Pike [with] Self [weather] Overcast later - Boggy on top
Kate Peacock conquered on April 16th, 2022 [from/via/route] Dropped at Mosedale, collected at the bottom of Longlands Fell. We walked up the steep side of Carrock Fell. [with] Me & Sheila [weather] No rain. Winds were increasing at the beginning but dropped at the end. Fair day. Gloves & coat for the top. - The ascent up Carrock Fell was interesting. Thankfully nobody was there to want to be passed. Steep & narrow & fortunately dry otherwise I'm not sure my feet would have been as secure at points. Just beat to get up it, couldn't really hand around. Tops were as expected but quite boggy in parts. First time I've seen a bothy
Elaine Thomason scaled during May, 2021 [weather] hot
Richard Fulcher walked up on July 24th, 2021 [from/via/route] Walked up from Mosedale village via a narrow path through the heather & across screes. Tough ascent. Part of a circular route taking in High Pike, Knott & Great Calva. [weather] Warm sunny day with a little high cloud. A breeze on the tops. T shirt weather.
Kevin Foster climbed on October 8th, 2020 [from/via/route] Poddy Gill (Mosedale). [with] Henry. [weather] Sunny, clouding over later. - The climb up Poddy Gill was a bit of a plod but once the rocky top was reached it was more interesting. The top iitself is enclosed by the ruins of an iron age fort I think. The fine cairn, set on a rocky plinth, gives outstanding views especially northwards towards the Borders, the Solway Firth & the Northern Pennines.
Claire Murray bagged on November 22nd, 2020 [from/via/route] High Pike & Carrock Fell from Fellside Farm [with] Vitor [weather] Cold & damp with a drop of hail - Lovely walk with easy parking at the farm. No sheep on the hills & no leads required! Lots of wet boggy areas to walk through though
