Michael Naylor bagged on April 3rd, 2019 [weather] Overcast
Simon Boddy hiked on November 12th, 2017 [from/via/route] Kettlewell [with] My girlfriend
Mark Price summited on September 22nd, 2018 [from/via/route] From Buckden then decending to starbutton returning via dales way [with] Shaun Dunmall, David Hill, Marek Kulek [weather] fair
Kevin Foster conquered on July 27th, 2017 [from/via/route] Buckden [with] Just me and my labrador Henry [weather] Light rain turning heavier for a while then clearing out by mid-afternoon then sunny. - This was actually my third visit to Buckden Pike this year and certainly the wettest! Previous visits had been from Starbotton via the Walden 'road' and a full length excursion up Waldendale from West Burton. Today was by the more 'traditional' route of Buckden Rake. I set off with high hopes after checking the forecast on the MWIS. The light rain would pass or so I thought. About half way up the weather took a turn for the worst and became a heavy downpour and the cloud dropped in. This wasn't in the forecast? Anyway, I didn't hang about at the summit and carried on through very soggy conditions to the Polish Memorial and on to the Walden 'road' and my escape route. I will be back though maybe to try the waterfalls and scrambling up Buckden Ghyll. I didn't fancy it today because I had Henry with me.
Iain Cocks scaled on August 5th, 2017 [from/via/route] Buckden [with] Paul Smith, Dave Slater [weather] Wind and torrential rain - Wet to the skin
Mark Davidson walked up on February 20th, 2005 [with] Mike [weather] Bit overcast but clear. Bit of ice on the Buckden Beck waterdalls

Peter Brent hiked on September 17th, 2015 [from/via/route] Buckden, Buckden Rake, Cow Close, Summit, Memorial Cross, Walden Road, Starbottom, Buckden [with] Raymond Hepworth [weather] Sunny with a few clouds - Good 8.5 mile circular walk with stunning views, quite exhilarating.
Caroline Winter summited on August 8th, 2015 [from/via/route] Buckden, Rake, Cow Close, Buckden Pike, Memorial Cross, Tor Mere Top, Black Dike, Great Whernside, Hag Dyke, downer Gill Beck, Kettlewell [with] Friend [weather] Sunny and clear skies. Light southerly wind - My novice walker friend from school days met up to try this walking lark and she was like a sheep on the fells. I advised her that more subdued colours than vivid candy floss pink next time and collapsing a dry stone wall will not be looked on favourably!wetter underfoot than expected and quite a slog to the Pike, but maybe cause we had strayed from the route with chatting
Iain Taylor conquered on December 6th, 2014 [from/via/route] Buckden car park SD 94247 77350

Ray O'hara hiked on June 27th, 2013 [from/via/route] NY104 [weather] Lost in cloud from about 1500' - Good sold path all the way up. If you follow the sign by the summit that recommends progressing on the other side on the wall from the one on NY104, you will probably miss the memorial and Tor Mere Top and end up disappearing back off down to Buckden earlier than expected if you're not careful. I did.
Christine Shepherd summited on March 28th, 2011 [from/via/route] Buckden [with] Jenny [weather] Chilly but bright - This walk was accompanied by the sounds and sights of grouse performing their mating rituals! Climbed Buckden Pike again with a broken arm on 21.4.11!
Lee Senior conquered on May 26th, 2012 [from/via/route] Did this as part of my walk from Gt Whernside- did a bit of scrambling at the end to cut off the corner of the path from Walden Rd -in effect I approached from the back off the Starbotton path [with] myself [weather] Glorious sun with stiff easterly wind - Amazingly quiet at this popular trig point even in good weather. The trig area will be very wet in unsettled conditions
