Donovan Suddell climbed Drum (Carneddau) on July 19th, 2022 [from/via/route] Cae Coch [with] Solo [weather] Hot hot hot, but quite a wind on summit
Melfyn Parry bagged Drum on November 29th, 2020 [from/via/route] Start & finish at minor car park at SH743693. Followed path from back of car park to summit of Pen y Gadair, then on to summit of Pen y Castell. From here continue along path to summit of Drum. Walk round cairn & through gate & follow path along fence line towards Foel Fras turning off the path at SH704686. Descend to Llyn Dylun reservoir & stopped for lunch in the Bothy. Continued up path along Craig Fawr to Melynllyn reservoir before descending along gravel roadway to Maeneira. Path leads to pumping station on afon Melynllyn. Continue along boggy section to join path alongside leat which leads back to carpark. [with] PRC [weather] Grey day with very low cloud on Drum

Plenty of sunny spells. - We struggled to find our way between Drosgl & Aber Falls. Crossing the river at the top of the falls was challenging!
