In-use Test:

The polyester fabric used for the Craghoppers Fusion fleece was very soft to the touch - the fleece itself was warm, comfortable and light to wear and did have some wind resistance.

The fit was good and true to size - the overall length was fine but despite the elasticated hem the fleece did tend to ride up a little when my arms were lifted.

The sleeves, which are elasticated at the cuffs, were a good length and allowed a good degree of movement around the shoulders.

There's a good height collar which zips all the way to the top. The zip, which ran quite smoothly, opens to about a third way down and is probably the only way of adjusting ventilation. The zip toggle could perhaps be a little bigger - however the lack of a backing flap did reduce my warmth a little.

The only pocket is designed primarily for a mp3 player/phone so the Fusion is lacking any hand-warmer pockets which IMHO is a bit of an omission.

It washed well and dried quickly.

Buying Advice:

Whilst the Craghoppers Fusion fleece is ideal for keeping in the bottom of ruck sack just in case you need an extra layer - this great looking fleece is something you will want to wear more often - for general leisure wear, low level walking and other low energy activities.
