The summit of Ben Lomond is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point.

Part of this walk follows a section of The West Highland Way, a 153km (95 miles) linear footpath connecting Milngavie in East Dumbartonshire, Scotland with Fort William in Highland, Scotland.
