You will also reach the summit of Picws Du (Bannau Sir Gaer), 749m (2458ft). Picws Du (Bannau Sir Gaer) is classified as a Welsh Mountain (Hewitt) (53rd highest in Wales, 122nd highest in England & Wales) and a Wainwright (No. ). Picws Du (Bannau Sir Gaer) is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (64th in Wales, 148th in England & Wales).

Along the way you will also bag Black Mountain, 703m (2307ft) Black Mountain straddles the border between England and Wales. Although the actual summit of Black Mountain is in the welsh county of Powys by a couple of metres, the upper NW slope of Black Mountain is the highest point in the english county of Herefordshire. - a Welsh Mountain (Hewitt) (67th Wal, 170th Eng & Wal), a Welsh Nuttall (85th Wal, 212th Eng & Wal) and Waun Lefrith (Bannau Sir Gaer) 677m (2221ft) - a Welsh Nuttall (108th Wal, 263rd Eng & Wal).
