The highest point of this walk is Drum at 760m (2494ft). Drum is classified as a Welsh Mountain (Hewitt) (47th highest in Wales, 113th highest in England & Wales) and a Wainwright (No. ). Drum is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (57th in Wales, 136th in England & Wales).

Completing this walk also take you to the top of Carnedd y Ddelw, 688m (2258ft). Carnedd y Ddelw is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (97th in Wales, 243rd in England & Wales).

You will also reach the summit of Pen y Castell, 623m (2045ft). Pen y Castell is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (168th in Wales, 395th in England & Wales).

Along the way you will also bag Tal y Fan, 610m (2002ft) - a Welsh Mountain (Hewitt) (134th Wal, 311th Eng & Wal), a Welsh Nuttall (187th Wal, 438th Eng & Wal) and Foel Lwyd 603m (1979ft) - a Welsh Dewey (11th in Wal, 19th Eng & Wal).
