Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:
To visit Laneast Holy Well go SE (right) through a gate (confusingly signed 'The Barton - Private - Beware of the Dogs' & 'Laneast Holy Well - by kind permission of the Landowner') & then a 2nd gate before going S down a field to reach a small stone structure with a fence round it. Retrace your steps back to the road.
Altarnun's 15th-century church (a.k.a. the Cathedral of the Moors) is famous for the carved ends of its pews dating from between 1510 to 1530 & the carved Norman font.
