Until recently the were constructed with Adobe Flash but from the end of 2020 Adobe Flash is no longer supported by the major browsers (see note at the bottom of this page) and you are recommended to remove Adobe Flash Player from your computer, tablet and mobile phone.
However, all is not lost. Our clever coders have discovered it is possible to adapt our interactive walk planning maps so they can continue to used (using Adobe Animate, Javascript and HTML5 if you were wondering).
How to get our older style Adobe Flash Interactive Walking Maps to work:
If you have an older version of Google Chrome see Use or fix Flash audio & video in Google Chrome.
If you have version of Safari older than version 14 see Enable for Safari.
If you have a version of Mozilla Firefox older than version 84 see Enabling Flash for Mozilla Firefox.
Note: Google Chrome no longer supports Adobe Flash Player (see So long, and thanks for all the Flash), Apple Safari version 14 (released for macOS in September 2020) no longer loads Adobe Flash Player or plays Adobe Flash content and Mozilla Firefox will no longer support Adobe Flash Player or play Flash content from January 26th, 2021 (with Firefox version 84 the final version to support Adobe Flash).
