I am a Male Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Maidenhead.

My Message: I’m from the Maidenhead area and am looking for a female friend for walking and hiking in the Welsh mountains, Cumbria or Scotland, although if you have other areas to visit, then that’s ok by me. Being in my mid fifties, male, I have been walking from many years enjoying the outdoor life and am able to set up comfortable base camps on overnighters. If you require a refresher course on map and compass navigation I’ll be happy to help. I have climbed Snowdon, Cader Iris. Pen y fan and Cairngorm this winter with lots of snow. If you would like to join me for any hill walking please let me know. Andrew

I am a Male Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Knutsford, Cheshire.

My Message: Hello, I'm based in Knutsford, Cheshire and love the outdoors, particularly the parts with a pub at the end, or in the middle! Reasonably fit and active but equally happy doing high-level walks but also some of my favourites are walks around the coast or around lakes in Cumbria. Seeking an interesting companion to find new walks with. I am mainly available at weekends but can do walks closer to home in the evenings, and can be available during weekdays as my business is flexible. My ideal walking mate would have a love of the English countryside, have an easy laugh, a sunshiny disposition and be able to join in interesting banter at pub at end of walk.

I am a Female Walker, in my late 40s, based near Exeter.

My Message: Hi :)
I'm Karen a fairly fit 48 year old woman and her dog Kizzy a whippet (we come as a pair). So if you don't like dogs then please don't contact me. We walk every day of the week by ourselves :( and would love to meet other people to walk with for some good conversation and perhaps a stop off at a local pub :) We don't walk miles and miles but anything up to about five would be good for us. I know quite alot of good local walks (Exeter area) which I could share with you and would also be prepared to travel within a twenty mile radius to enjoy some good new ones. If you are interested and don't want to go on a ten mile hike as yet then please feel free to contact me. I'll look forward to meeting you :)

I am a Female Walker, in my late 50s, based near Leeds.

My Message: Greetings fellow walkers! I am based in West Yorkshire at present and am wanting to connect with like-minded, sure-footed hill and dale walkers. I am a keen walker and am happy to accompany both female and male companions on many an excursion. I am a 'youthful' 59 year old - am fit and am ready to head for the hills with whoever finds the time! Weekends are best for me as I'm caring for elderly dad during the week tho' with the new summer time - there's plenty of hours left of an afternoon!

I am a Male Walker, in my early 50s, based near Tonbridge.

My Message: I am going to the Brecon Beacons for at least 3 days this Easter, based at Brecon youth hostel. I'm fit and active and normally walk quite energetically but can adapt to match most paces.

I also have the chance to do a walking trip anywhere else but within the first two weeks of April only. (After that my family return from their holiday abroad and I won't have the chance to go away properly.)

If you are interested in joining me for any walking trip during either period then please get in touch.

I am a Female Walker, in my early 60s, based near Bath.

My Message: I have been a keen walker for the last 10 years but (as we have got older) my walking companions have begun to fall by the wayside whereas I'm still raring to go! I have considered joining the Ramblers but I'd rather not walk in a large group. Also having exhausted most of the walks in the Bath area, Wiltshire and Dorset I would like to start walking further afield and have got my eye on some of the long distance trails ----- I prefer walking from place to place rather than circular walks but I will do both! Although I am slow uphill, I can cover 8 to 14 miles a day especially if there is a meal and a glass of wine to look forward to at the end. The other thing I enjoy is map reading and it gives me great satisfaction when I have negotiated a route successfully.
So, I am looking for a walking companion who would like to do any of the above either during the week or at weekends.

I am a Female Walker, in my late 50s, based near Rugeley.

My Message: Hi My name's Angie and I'm looking for a male to accompany me on my walks. I'm fairly fit, hoping to do some good long distance walks and looking for someone to introduce me to the excitement of hillwalking and getting off the beaten track - I don't really have navigation skills yet but am keen to learn. I love Snowdonia and the majesty of the mountains but quite happy to explore anywhere and everywhere off the beaten track. I enjoy a hard day's walking but am equally happy to stop and enjoy the view while taking a well earned breather. I love company and am keen to share my enjoyment of walking and the outdoors with a likeminded male so we can both gain more from our shared experiences. A nice meal and a bevvy at the end - who can ask for more!!

I am a Female Walker, in my late 40s, based near Dorchester.

My Message: I've always enjoyed coastal walking and love the sea. I know and love the Dorset coast. It's beautiful at any time of the year. Although I've put mainly the South-West as my areas of interest for walking, I'd love to go further afield if I had company to walk with - singles or couples - I don't mind which. I work full-time but can arrange to walk at weekends or school holidays. I'm happy to try something a bit challenging rather than a gentle stroll and I'm handy with a map and compass. I've done a bit of orienteering in the past. Do get in touch if you might be interested :)
