I am a Male Walker, in my early 60s, based near Hartlebury.

My Message: Hi. I'm Peter and I live near Worcester. I've been self-employed for over twenty years, which means I'm free to walk almost any day of the week. My friends say that I'm fairly fit, have a sparkle in my eyes and a love of life. But although I'm a member of another group, I'd love to have a local walking-buddy. My ideal walk is interesting, rather than challenging, and probably around five to ten miles.

I am a Male Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Knutsford, Cheshire.

My Message: Hello, I'm based in Knutsford, Cheshire and love the outdoors, particularly the parts with a pub at the end, or in the middle! Reasonably fit and active but equally happy doing high-level walks but also some of my favourites are walks around the coast or around lakes in Cumbria. Seeking an interesting companion to find new walks with. I am mainly available at weekends but can do walks closer to home in the evenings, and can be available during weekdays as my business is flexible. My ideal walking mate would have a love of the English countryside, have an easy laugh, a sunshiny disposition and be able to join in interesting banter at pub at end of walk.

I am a Female Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Southam, Warwickshire.

My Message: Hi, I'm usually free to walk most weekends. I'm based in Warwickshire but love walking in the Lake District, Snowdonia, mid Wales, Brecons, Peak District and anywhere else really. As long as there's a good walk involved I'm usually interested. I'm a professional person, easy company and looking for nothing other than a good walk and easy company. I drive and am happy to provide transport, if en route. I have passed my bronze NNAS map reading course, but I'm not fully confident to lead a complicated route! I am fairly fit and am just about to run my first half marathon. Email me with questions etc, I really won't bite. Kind regards Michelle

I am a Male Walker, in my late 50s, based near Cheltenham.

My Message: Hello, I'm looking for single female walking partner / companion / buddy (whatever you want to call it) who is as fed up with their own company as I am with mine. Ideal candidate(s) someone with eclectic tastes in just about everything, easy-going, open-minded, non-judgemental for walks in the Cotswolds and other nearby areas also. Hi, my name is Halina, I am Polish lady leaving in UK for the last 27 years, last 16 years I live in South East of England. Always liked walking, outdoor, skiing and as long as I am fit enough I would like to persue this activities. I am looking for male/female walking companion mostly for the weekends and odd days off, holidays. I am willing to travel with reasonable distance (I do drive).
Still back in Poland I used to work as a mountain guide (only as a hobby) for Tatra Mountains so know it pretty well. If you ever would like to visit this part of the world I can be very helpfull, although I have not been there myself for many years now.
I would prefere walks with just another one or two people not a big group.

I am a Female Walker, in my late 40s, based near Dorchester.

My Message: I've always enjoyed coastal walking and love the sea. I know and love the Dorset coast. It's beautiful at any time of the year. Although I've put mainly the South-West as my areas of interest for walking, I'd love to go further afield if I had company to walk with - singles or couples - I don't mind which. I work full-time but can arrange to walk at weekends or school holidays. I'm happy to try something a bit challenging rather than a gentle stroll and I'm handy with a map and compass. I've done a bit of orienteering in the past. Do get in touch if you might be interested :)

I am a Male Walker, in my late 40s, based near Blackpool.

My Message: Hi, I am a cheerful, happy go lucky, adventurous guy who has always had a facination for the outdoors-walking, camping, caving etc and a love of travel. I am planning to walk some long distance paths such as the Lancashire Coastal Way, Ribble Way or discuss any path you are interested in. I intend to video the walk and it would be fantastic to meet someone who would enjoy sharing the challenge. Probably do the walk in stages over a period of time. I am happy to begin with easy sections of about 5 miles enjoying the walk, increasing the distance as we get fitter. I am free most days and look forward to hearing from anyone who would like to join me in planning and doing some great walks. I am open to any other ideas and love country pubs.

I am a Male Walker, in my early 60s, based near Hemel Hempstead.

My Message: Recently retired professional male who canít stand being indoors.
I usually do a couple of grade 3-4 walks a week and I hope to build-up to at least one 2/3 day walk each week, grade 5-9, in all weathers, over the winter months. I would prefer these to be mid-week but this is flexible. Iím looking for similar minded companions seeking to improve fitness, navigation, and hill-savvy skills. This is as much for safety reasons as for those deep philosophical conversations on climbs of 1000+ feet.

Iím no Bear Grylls Ė I have a modern campervan than I use as a base for longer trips but I consider the local Travelodge/BandB to be mandatory for sleeping! The van provides a neat facility for setting the heating on automatic timer and my must-have:- freshly brewed coffee.

Iím based in Hertfordshire and East Kent so I have a long drive to find any decent hills. You are bound to be en route to most of the national parks so location and lack of transport shouldnít put you off. Iím not all climbing and route-marches, and expect to include wild-life reserves and historical places in any itinerary Ė but no shopping malls! You should expect to budget £50-£100 expenses for each trip.

I have no fixed plans or destinations, although the Munros in January are out, same for the Alps.
Let me know if you are interested and we can have a trial stroll up Box Hill or similar.

I am a Male Walker, in my early 40s, based near Ystradgynlais.

My Message: Hi there,
I'm looking for female companions to keep me company while i'm out and about on my wanderings. Quite shy initially but fine once I get going. I love all kinds of walks from difficult to very easy and perhaps followed by a spot of food and a glass of something refreshing. Usually try and stick to the Brecon beacons and Black mountains, but also open to perhaps camping or even a BandB if I travel away. I also love a bit of landscape photography so sometimes take my camera along for the day..
Get in touch if you're up for a stroll some time :)
