My Message: I would like to do more walking, but I am limited as to when I can go and how far I can walk. I can usually do about 5 - 10 miles but don't always like to go in groups, mainly because I occasionally feel like I'm on a route march. I have also some problems with the pace of some of the walks and feel that sometimes I'm going to get left behind, even when I'm not at the back. I am an enthusiastic if somewhat unfit walker having had my boots hanging on the back of the door for the last year! I want to start getting out again, but would love some company, starting off with grades 1 to 3, and working up to the rest and hopefully getting farther afield once I become fitter.
I can take time off during the week so am not restricted to the weekends.
I own a dog - just a year old - and I would quite like to take him out with me, but so far he has never seen a sheep! So not precious about it.
I hope to hear from someone who enjoys walking, wants to build up their fitness, and doesn't mind being in the company of someone who goes bright red, sweats and puffs a bit going up hill!
