I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Macclesfield.

My Message: I would like to do more walking, but I am limited as to when I can go and how far I can walk. I can usually do about 5 - 10 miles but don't always like to go in groups, mainly because I occasionally feel like I'm on a route march. I have also some problems with the pace of some of the walks and feel that sometimes I'm going to get left behind, even when I'm not at the back. I would quite like to go in a small group who walk at a good pace, but are not keep fit fanatics. Anyway if this email hasn't put you off, please get in touch.

I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Wakefield.

My Message: Hi there
Im ready to shake off those extra pounds and would love to get out there and meet new friends whilst exploring the great outdoors. I just never seem to find anyone to go for a walk with! My dogs are getting old and are slowing down and I feel as though Im joining them! I feel a bit rusty and will need to start with the less challenging walks. I spend some of my free time with relatives in Wales and would love to explore that area more, Most of my walking is in the Yorkshire Dales and Lakes Please,,,, help me out of this armchair!

Looking for someone to walk with who does not treat it like an endurance test. An easy pace to start with please! Prefer to see what's around me than clocking up speeds and miles! Box No: 62931

I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Leeds.

My Message: Hello
I am an enthusiastic if somewhat unfit walker having had my boots hanging on the back of the door for the last year! I want to start getting out again, but would love some company, starting off with grades 1 to 3, and working up to the rest and hopefully getting farther afield once I become fitter.
I can take time off during the week so am not restricted to the weekends.
I own a dog - just a year old - and I would quite like to take him out with me, but so far he has never seen a sheep! So not precious about it.
I hope to hear from someone who enjoys walking, wants to build up their fitness, and doesn't mind being in the company of someone who goes bright red, sweats and puffs a bit going up hill!

Carol

I am a Female Walker, in my late 40s, based near Leeds.

My Message: Hi

I'm Sue, based in Yorkshire, wanting to do more hill-walking again after a few years break and looking for cheerful but not earnest company. I love the freedom of being out in the hills, and the pubs, and am hoping to meet easy-going like-minded people who enjoy tasteless jokes for walks at weekends. I also enjoy cycling and running, slowly, although I do intend to speed up.

I am a Female Walker, in my early 60s, based near London.

My Message: I am 61 female looking for a male companion. I try to walk most weekends and have just come back from South Wales and Offas Dyke. There is so many places in Britain and Europe that I want to do but initially it would be nice to get to know someone fairly locally. Living in London it's fairly easy for me to get around the South east. I am hoping to do some walking in the Lakes in a few weeks where I have friends and I do go on organised walking holidays. But it would be nice to have someone special to walk with as well.
