Andy Buxton bagged on May 30th, 1994 [from/via/route] From Overbeck Bridge. Yewbarrow, Red Pike, Scoat Fell, Steeple and Haycock [with] Dan [weather] Good, some showers - Good day with some entertaining scrambling. Day rather marred by Derby losing 2-1 to Leicester in play-off final.

Elaine Evans summited on April 15th, 2019 [from/via/route] From Bowness Knott car park beside Ennerdale, followed path alongside Ennerdale, over bridge onto the river path, past Moss Dub and up Long Crag to the summit of Steeple, continued onto Scoat Fell, Haycock, Little Gowder Crag and finally Caw Fell before descending to the river path and retracing our steps back to the car. [with] Sue and Christine [weather] Dry but very, very windy and cold on the tops. - Followed walk c130 (in reverse). Good day out but had the wind against us for much of the summit walk which increased the difficulty level. Beautiful late afternoon sunshine as we descended. Visibility hazy.

Would only recommend it after a long dry period.
