Nick Dobson walked up on September 24th, 2015 [from/via/route] Ormthwaite [with] Ralph [weather] cloudy then strong winds & showers up top - right boot blow out on way up Jenkin Hill (slapping sandal) 13/11/2021 Completed Little man again, with Ralph & also Margaret who missed out 6 years ago. We then went on to do Lonscale Fell.
Tony Halliday climbed on November 22nd, 2021 [from/via/route] Circular walk starting at under skiddaw car park steep start levels off then climbed little man before summating skiddaw cutting across to longsdale fell before joining up with Cumbrian way back to car park 10 miles approx [with] My boarder terrier jimmy [weather] The weather was perfect dry clear start with the sun shining but a nice cool breeze the higher we got the cooler it got with ice still on the ground very windy & cold at the summit but beautiful sunny weather all day no wind off the summit - Great walk perfect weather condition steep start but well worth the effort for the 360 views at the summit little man is a must on your way up to skiddaw
Richard Fulcher bagged on July 31st, 2021 [from/via/route] Jen dropped me at the Gale Road car park & I started off along the Cumbria Way around Lonscale Fell. I ascended up on the edge of Lonscale Crags to Lonscale Fell & then walked over Jenkin Hill to Little Man. From there I joined the main route up to Skiddaw & over the other side to Bakestall. I descended via Birkett Edge & then followed the Cumbria Way route down to Peter House Farm. I walked down the road to Walk Mill Bridge where Jen picked me up. [weather] Low cloud but otherwise reasonable weather. - The initial climb up Lonscale was tough (unfit!) but the other climbs were separated by easier sections.
Richard Beardsley hiked on August 24th, 2021 [from/via/route] Started from our holiday accommodation in Keswick, 2 doors away from the Wainwright pub. [with] Myself, Paula, Andy and Dylan. [weather] Mild early morning, sunny but cloudy on Skiddaw summit. - An early morning start, (0600hrs), from Keswick town centre up Spoonygreen Lane & the normal touristy route to the summit of Skiddaw. The return route was via Little Man & Lesser Man. Arrived back in Keswick at 1130hrs. Great day out with fantastic views albeit it being low cloud on Skiddaw summit.
Christine Shepherd summited on May 12th, 2008 [from/via/route] I walked from Millbeck using walk c321 Climbed again using walk c186 on 30.06.21 with Jenny. [with] On my own [weather] A lovely day
Chris Sheard conquered on June 28th, 2021 [from/via/route] Up from Lonscale [with] George [weather] Warm, slight winds a bit oppressive in calm valleys - Nice mountain top, with quite impressive views
Peter Hanney scaled on November 23rd, 2020 [from/via/route] Lonsdale Fell [with] Dianne and the Whiteheads [weather] Strong winds & then rain started on ascent towards Little Man
Kevin Foster walked up on March 30th, 2021 [from/via/route] Lonscale Fell. [with] By myself. [weather] Sunny to start then ascending into cloud. Cloud inversion on the top of Skiddaw which was cloud free. - After the steepness of Lonscale Fell the ascent of Skiddaw Little Man (via Jenkin Hill & Skiddaw Lesser Man?) was fairly easy. The mist was confusing so on reaching the pile of iron posts on Skiddaw Lesser Man (that's what I'm calling it anyway) I thought I'd reached the top of Little Man so I stopped for some lunch. It was only after I carried on to the actual top of Little Man that I realised my mistake!
Stephen Batson climbed on July 31st, 2020 [with] Clare
Tony Kenny bagged on August 16th, 2011 [with] Kitty
