I went up Lingmell whilst Jen waited in the col shielding herself from the wind. We both then slowly hiked up to the top of Scafell Pike, getting blown off course every few steps by a strong gust of wind. Trying getting up and down. About 10 to 20 people at the top. We abandoned the idea of walking to Great End and back by Sty Head and just returned via the main path to the Wasdale Head Inn.

Christine Shepherd summited on September 1st, 2010 [from/via/route] Wasdale [with] On my own [weather] Very hot. - I nearly bagged this on 26.4.08.
