Kevin Foster summited on April 16th, 2019 [from/via/route] Upper Booth. [with] By myself. [weather] High thin cloud cover with a fresh Easterly breeze (making long distance views quite hazy & a bit nippy on top). - Remarkably I had never visited Kinder Scout before today but this walk, a kind of 'Best of Kinder', certainly made up for lost time. The actual top marked by a small pile of stones is a bit arbitrary & is some 50 yards or so west of point 636. At only 3 metres lower the OS trig point on Kinder Low makes a far more fitting summit. Aside from a long road trip to Devon it's The Lakes all the way for me now although I have to say I have really enjoyed my days out in The High Peak.

We proceeded to Kinder Downfall & then after a break, headed straight across the top of Kinder at it's narrowest point to the waterfall at the top of Fair Brook to scramble down Fair Brook Naze following close to the river back to A57 & Snake Inn for a drink!
