Christine Shepherd walked up on February 23rd, 2019 [from/via/route] Walked from Birchen Clough using walk d263. [with] On my own [weather] Blue skies and sunshine - A really enjoyable walk with lots of interesting stone formations.
Michael Lee has climbed [from/via/route] We took the path from Snake Inn (Snake Path) and followed it along Ashop Clough, crossing a bridge I seem to remember has something to do with Sheffield Uni? We continued up Black Ashop Moor on Snake path to Ashop Head where we turned left onto the Pennine way and onto Kinder itself. The picture you said was at Sandy Heys fits that exactly! We proceeded to Kinder Downfall and then after a break, headed straight across the top of Kinder at it's narrowest point to the waterfall at the top of Fair Brook to scramble down Fair Brook Naze following close to the river back to A57 and Snake Inn for a drink! [with] Jill and friends [weather] Sunny - Done this one three times, various weathers..
John Gehrke bagged on May 30th, 2014 [from/via/route] d176 [with] solo
Andrew Joss hiked on December 9th, 2012 [from/via/route] Birchen Clough [weather] Very windy
Paul Woodburn and Mark Davidson have both walked, climbed & bagged Fairbrook Naze (Kinder Scout).
