Christine Shepherd climbed Cats Tor on March 18th, 2019 [from/via/route] Walked from Lamaload Reservoir using walk ch157 [with] On my own [weather] Cloudy and rainy with occasional hail, cloud did clear occasionally to see the views. - Once I had found Lamaload Reservoir, (rely on a map not a sat nav!), the route was clear and easy to follow. I am sure there would be wonderful views throughout this walk on a clear day.

Richard Evered summited Cats Tor on March 21st, 2014 [from/via/route] Derbyshire Bridge, Errwood Hall, Fox Edge, Pym Chair, Cats Tor, Shining Tor [with] Claire, Rooney [weather] Pleasant for the main part, strong wind with hail showers on the Tors ridge. - An old favorite trail running route. Tors ridge now paved making progress very quick and easy, lots of forest now felled. Stayed in campervan in Goyt Valley.
