We then decided to go up Bleaberry Fell ... having got there we also went on to High Seat and came back via Ashness Bridge and the lakeside path, crossing back to Spring Lane via Castlehead. [with] Jen [weather] Lovely blue sky day with little wind ... perfect for walking. - Much longer than initially planned.

Took reverse C296 route to Walla Crag, where we ate our sandwiches and then onto Bleaberry Fell. With tired children and possible boggy ground ahead decided not to continue onto High Seat. Turned round and trundled back to Keswick.
