Richard Marchant summited on August 30th, 2019 [from/via/route] We parked the car at the NT car park just off the B5289 near Quayfoot Quarry. We took the path out of the car park to Long Crag then ascended Brock Bield to Long Moss and eventually on to King's How. From there we followed the path down and across to Grange Fell. We then descended down to Rosthwaite and got on to the Cumbria Way and left it to ascend Castle Grag. Once we ascended Castle Crag we returned to the Cumbria Way and followed it to Grange and then on to the B5289 and back to the car. [with] My old friend from Sunderland Ray [weather] Bit of a light breeze but constant rain all day long. Cloud level was at about 650m - Ray did well to complete this walk, but on a serious note he needs to go to his GP and get a health check.
