Kevin Foster walked up on November 13th, 2020 [from/via/route] Mungrisdale village. [with] Diana and Henry. [weather] Cloudy, rain and intermittent sunshine. - After a long and gradual climb, following the Glenderamackin River as it twisted almost 360 degrees beneath Souther Fell, Bannerdale Crag itself and Sharp Edge on Blencathra, we were rewarded by a dramatic craggy drop, stunning views east and a rainbow!
Caroline Winter climbed on August 26th, 2020 [from/via/route] Mungrisdale cottages, Gkendermackin river, skirted Tongue, Bowscale Fell, Bannerdale crags, Glendermackin [with] Becky [weather] Wet morning, clearing afternoon. Cloud walking to Bannerdale Crags. Warm with light breeze - One of the most pleasant and easiest walks. Chatting with two men from carlise doing wainwrights, who like ourselves were not expecting low cloud on Bannerdale Crags. We lost track coming off and ended up hacking our way through the bracken to get to river path. Liked the new bridge and detour due to river flood erosion
