Other walkers who hiked, climbed, bagged and summited Cold Pike Fellow go4awalkers who have already walked, climbed, summited & bagged Cold Pike

Ian Ashton walked up Cold Pike on January 27th, 2024 [with] Solo

Martyn Atherton climbed Cold Pike on March 13th, 2022 [from/via/route] c279 Pike of Blisco, Cold Pike, Crinkle Crags [with] Self [weather] Dry & cloudy

Richard Marchant bagged Cold Pike on September 15th, 2022 [from/via/route] Parked at Wrynose Pass & walked North straight up to Red Tarn & up on to Cold Pike & the walked back the same route. [with] On my Own [weather] Clear day with little or no breeze.

John Tippins hiked Cold Pike on July 15th, 2022 [from/via/route] Route C279 from go4awalk.com reduced for just Pike of Blisco & Cold Pike [with] With Afia, Zahra and Farah [weather] Forecast didn't look promising. Low cloud & light drizzzle on & off for most of the day. With wind chill made for cold hands. Clouds cleared late afternoon to bring sunshine & it got very warm.

Christine Shepherd summited Cold Pike on April 16th, 2009 [from/via/route] Walked from Great Langdale using walk c279 Repeated this walk solo but adding on Little Stand,(which I omitted first time), on 30.07.2015. Climbed again on 6.9.21 Climbed again in heavy rain & a strong wind on 2.7.22 with H4TH [with] My friend Jenny [weather] Bright & windy. - The path to this summit is rather indistinct as most people head straight for Crinkle Crags after Pike o'Blisco. On my second ascent I headed up on the Crinkle Crags Path & just before a large cairn followed a clear path on the left to the summit.

Geoff Hand conquered Cold Pike on June 15th, 2022 [from/via/route] Walk c279 The Oxendale Round from the Old Dungeon Ghyl up Pike of Blisco, Cold Pike, Graet Knott, Little Stand, Crinkle crags & back by The Band. [with] Alone with Tess [weather] Beautiful sunny day, got burnt to a crisp! - Went a little bit wrong at first & went too clos to Blea Tarn. Tess was attacked by a dog who fortunately had a muzzle on otherwise it could have been a mess. Lovely memory of Swallows swooping over a flower meadow on the way back.

Pete George scaled Cold Pike on May 7th, 2022 [from/via/route] Old Dungeon Ghyll [with] Roco [weather] Pleasant. Clear on summit

Kevin Foster walked up Cold Pike on July 30th, 2021 [from/via/route] The Old Dungeon Ghyll National Trust car park. [with] By myself. [weather] Light rain, cloud base down, very limited visibility. - The next three tops along the Cold Pike ridge were a bit tricky to locate in mist. But by referring to my phone apps, my OS map & my Nuttalls guide book I was able to confidently bag them all. As Sod's Law dictates, as I returned to the top of the Browney Gill paved path for my long descent back down into Oxendale, the clouds began slowly lifting so that most of Pike o' Blisco was now visible (just the summit itself was still in mist). At least I'm coming back here to do the Crinkles & I'll make sure I pick a better day for it!

Christina Lander climbed Cold Pike on June 1st, 2021 [from/via/route] Three Shires Stone - Cold Pike - Three Shires Stone [with] Dick [weather] A beautiful sunny day - First day of our holiday staying at Station House, Troutbeck, Penrith

Michael Nolan bagged Cold Pike on June 1st, 2021 [from/via/route] Wrynose pass [with] Morag the lurcher Lucy Duncan and Ivy the other lurcher [weather] lovely day
