Richard Marchant walked up on June 1st, 2009 [from/via/route] We parked at the small car parking spaces near the top of Latrigg. The boys were young so it reduced the climb up to Skiddaw and made sure we all enjoyed it. From the car it was basically an up and down walk on the main tourist path up to Little Man and on to Skiddaw and back down. Great views and an awesome day out. [with] Alison my wife and my two boys James and Thomas [weather] A fine day with not wind wall to wall sunshine - The ascent of Skiddaw was taken during a weeks holiday in the Lakes with Alison and the boys. We stayed at the White Cross Caravan site in between Windermere and Ambleside in a log cabin. A great holiday and lovely memories.
