Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) is the highest point in the county of Gwynedd, the highest point in Snowdonia National Park and the highest point in England and Wales.
The building on the summit of Snowdon (Hafod Eryri - The Snowdon Summit Visitor Centre and Cafe) is thought to be the home of the highest house mice in England and Wales!

Magical day. - My daughter said: lets climb a mountain. We had one day and one night available towards the end of August. we drove to Snowdonia from Oxfordshire way, picking up mountain map en route. Stayed for the first time in the fabulous youth hostel. It had been raining the entire summer and too misty all week on Snowdon for novices, or anyone, really. We set out expecting to have to turn back. But didn't. Arrived at top able to just about see our hands in front of our faces. Came out of café to totally clear and sunny day. Incredible. Decided to do 3 peak challenge over next summer holidays...
