Walking/Hiking Answers: The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge?
Got an answer to the following question?
I understand the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is 25 miles long.
I was wondering if it is possible to camp/stop on route, just because my
friend and I wanted to make a weekend of it.
From what I have read it seems you have to check into the Pen-y-ghent Cafe at the start and end of the walk, and if you are not back by nightfall a rescue team will start to look for you.
Is there any way round this?
Are walkers allowed to camp on the route?
If you could let me know I would be very grateful,
Thank you for your time,
