- Dunkeld to Stonehaven via the River Tay to Kinclaven, the A93 to through Blairgowrie and Rattray and then the A926 via Alyth, Kirriemuir, Brechin & Laurencekirk to the North
- Stonehaven to Carnoustie via the North Sea, Inverbervie, Montrose & Arbroath to the South East
- Carnoustie to Perth via the Firth of Tay past Dundee to the South East
- Perth to Dunkeld via the A9 to the West
If you count only the Marilyns there are 3 tops to climb, bag & conquer and the highest point is Craigowl Hill at 455m (1,493ft).
