The Snowdon Area of Snowdonia is enclosed by Llyn Paris to the North, the A4086 (Dyffryn Mymbyr & The Pass of Llanberis) to the North East, the A498 (Llyn Gwynant, Nant Gwynant and Llyn Dinas) to the East & South East, Beddgelert to the South, the A4085 (Nant Conwyn, Llyn Cwellyn & Nant y Betws) to the South West and the edge of the Snowdonia National Park to the North West.
The highest point is Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) and there are 12 Welsh Mountains, Peaks, Tops and Hills to walk up, bag & conquer.
