Tina Wildy walked up Mam Sodhail on May 29th, 2015 [from/via/route] Dunno, the pretty route with the lovely creamy-pink stone shot through with grey lines. Stoney on the top. We took a short-cut straight up a very steep slope rather than taking the long path up to the col. At least I think that was this mountain, need to check my record with the group really & edit it later if I'm mixed up with another one but I know I did it this week. [with] Kendal Fellwalking Club members. Ken was leading, also there were Lorraine from Wigan, The Lovely Alison, maybe Graham from Durham (can't remember)... 9 in all I think. Maybe I need to edit this so I get my facts right... [weather] Dreadful! Very very cold despite it being almost June, & rain, mist, hail & even snow at one point. Cleared on the top briefly for fabulous but fleeting views. - We stopped for tea in the bothy on the way back down. My first bothy!

Paul Booth and Trevor Williams have both walked, climbed & bagged Mam Sodhail.
