Wooly hat lost today (27th December) on or near the footpath from Thirlmere past Harrop tarn, likely place dropped (when rummaging in rucksack) at the gateway connecting the edge of the woodland with the open fell just beyond the tarn. Wooly hat, red and turquoise mostly, with a little silver threading and some reindeer in a pattern around the edge. Great sentimental value, would very much appreciate its safe return and will provide home baked cake as a reward.

Lost: Kodak Digital Camera
Managed to loose my camera while hiking Hadrian's Wall in mid-October (10/13/11). It is a small, silver Kodak digital camera lost somewhere between milecastle 37 and 38. Met a hiker the next day who actually found it, but believing it belonged to a couple he had just passed going the other way (West-East) sent it back up the trail with another hiker also walking that direction. If you have found it or know where it may be please let me know. The camera was a gift but is replaceable, in all actuality I really just want the pictures off it. Thanks for your time.
Joan Sicree, Tallmadge, Oh, Usa

Glasses found 27.Sept, 2011 in Lake district. If someone tells me the colour and any names on them and if possible the location where they were lost I will post them to you. I only say if possible because the shere nature of losing something is that you don't always know where it was lost. If it helps recovery, the glasses are undamaged as far as it looks to me. Andy.
