Digital Photographs of Mountain Walk & Hiking Scenery
We are busy building the largest collection of free-to-access walk related photographs available on the internet.
If you would like to see your photographs as part of this collection, send them as email attachments (configured for any computer) along with your name to and we shall do our best to publish them. (Guide Resolution = 300dpi. Guide Size = 400pixels (wide) x 300 pixels (high).
NB. Please label each picture as clearly as possible including where each photograph was taken, which walk you were doing and the view captured (if you know).
Please do not retouch pictures before sending them.
The best picture we receive each month will win Photo of the Month. No prizes - just fame and well . . . fame.
To send photographic prints or digital pictures on a CD use our postal address. Please make copies first. We cannot return items unless you send us a stamped and addressed return envelope.
If you have a cheap but invalueable walking, hiking and camping gear tip that you think your fellow walkers would appreciate, please let us know using this Gear Tips Submission Form.
Lost something while out walking? Found something? Tell us about it and we'll try and connect 'lossee' to the 'findee'. Complete our Lost & Found Form and send us the details of where and what you found/lost and we'll put your electronic notice on our digital telegraph pole.
If you have a favourite walk that you think your fellow walkers would enjoy, send details including a sketch map, start point grid reference and route description to us at our postal address.
We will try and produce a pdf to match your route and send it back to your for verification before posting on the go4awalk.com web site.
If you tell us your name we will include a credit to your goodself on the walk as well. NB. If you would rather not have your name added to the walk - then please say so - or use a pseudonym.
