Maglite Solitaire Hand Torch
Hi,
Thought you might like to know that I bought one of these recently as a key ring torch, so it only gets the lightest of use:
Reaction so far is that it is the most useless bit of kit I’ve ever been unfortunate enough to buy!
- The torch continually unscrews itself from the end cap
- Electrical connections are poor and unreliable
- It eats batteries, the one in it lasted about 5 minutes burning time, the second one won’t do much better.
- About all I can say for it is that the case is strong!
I thought I had just been unlucky and got a rogue, but checking one of the other outdoor sites I see that several other people have similar experiences with it.
I have emailed Mag Instruments and await their comments!
