The Northern Fells area of The Lake District National Park is enclosed by Keswick and Threlkeld to the South, The River Derwent and Bassenthwaite Lake to the South West and the boundary of The Lake District National Park to the North and East.

There are 33 'tops' to walk up and conquor, the highest point is Skiddaw and the area includes:

24 Wainwrights
12 Mountains (aka Hewitts) and
9 Hills (aka Bridgets)
